Starting this year, 2025, I began working with FASHION BIZ, a Korean fashion magazine, as their New York City Specialist.

My final project from James Estrin’s course “White Canvas” and my thesis “Seeking My Style in the City”—both part of my graduate studies at School of Visual Arts (SVA)—helped open my eyes to how New Yorkers blend their personal style with current trends, creating something uniquely their own. It’s this effortless mix that makes NYC truly deserving of its title as one of the world’s great fashion capitals.

When I first started with FASHION BIZ, I shared how each NYC neighborhood has its own vibe—its own rhythm. I wanted readers in Korea to see that there's so much more to this city than just Midtown or Times Square. To me, NYC feels a lot like Korea: the deeper you look, the more hidden gems you uncover.

This page is a collection of the photo stories I’ve been working on—capturing the essence of NYC and sharing it with FASHION BIZ readers and beyond.

New stories drop at least once a month, so stay tuned for the next story!
